I just want to take a moment to fully appreciate how, the moment Jim notices that Don is trying to set him up with Lisa, he looks at Maggie. The way he does. He’s completely perplexed at the idea that she would want to set him up. Hurt, even.

The question is: Is he actually wondering, at that moment, if he has misread Maggies signals? It would fit the picture of ‘Jim Harper, the slightly socially awkward professional’ - and it makes my heart go out. Just imagine him thinking that the girl he has gradually fallen in love with over the past months does not see him the same way.

You may laugh at this, but I think part of his motivation to “go out” with Lisa later is to get back at Maggie a little. At least I think it should be.
