POINT that 1x05 and 1x06 are supposed to show us just how friendly Jim and Maggie are with each other. No drama, no big feelings or hints of romance. Instead, camaraderie. Lovely, aren’t they?
And now that Sorkin has shown us all that - on to the big guns. The coming episodes look very promising in that department: Don’s sleeping around, Jim and Lisa actually going out, Jim’s “I’m nobodys second choice”.
The format of the whole thing - 10 episodes, in the summer - and the class of Sorkins writing make me hope that he will not make us wait artificially but continue to let the relationships in the show develop more or less naturally. Which could just give us some part of what we want by the end of this season. Right?
